Trahana Sitos is a tiny pebble-shaped product and is one of the oldest foods in the Eastern Mediterranean. This thick porridge is served hot or cold as a traditional Greek breakfast. For a different taste add fresh dill to the soup or add more vegetables of your choice in the broth.
Use: Mainly as a traditional Soup (Simmer sour trahana in water, broth, or milk until it softens and thickens. Add a drizzle of olive oil, crumbled feta, or a sprinkle of pepper for a comforting meal). Also use it in stews, casseroles etc.
