Baked Feta with Tomatoes, Olives, and Greek Herbs

Ingredients:

1 block of Greek feta cheese (about 200 g)

1 cup cherry tomatoes

1/2 cup Kalamata Pitted Ripe Olives

1/2 cup pitted green olives

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon oregano

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon rosemary (dried)

1/2 teaspoon red crushed pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

1 teaspoon chopped garlic, minced

For serving:

Greek pita bread

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Place the block of feta in the center of a baking dish with or without baking paper.

Scatter the halved cherry tomatoes and pitted Kalamata olives around the feta in the baking dish.

Season with Herbs and Spices: oregano, black pepper, rosemary, thyme, chili flakes, and minced garlic evenly over the feta, tomatoes, and olives.

Add Kalamata extra virgin olive oil over the entire dish.

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the feta becomes soft and creamy, and the tomatoes are slightly roasted.

Serving:

Carefully remove the baking dish from the oven.

Serve the baked feta with tomatoes and olives immediately, with warm or baked Greek pita bread on the side.

Enjoy!
